NOTICES

Hello all,

Although darkness comes early now, there’s still time to get out.

Also happening this month is the Boston Chapter Annual Dinner and Election on November 16. You can contact Bruce Ressler of the Meetings and Membership Committee at membership@amcboston.org for more information. It is being held at the Sandy Burr Country Club, Wayland. Sam Jamke, Past Chair of the NH chapter will present slides of her 2007 AMC Major Excursion to New Zealand. To register in advance, send $15 per person to Bruce Ressler, 18 Cedar Street, Hopkinton MA 01748. Dinner tickets at the door will be $20.

We have three new coleaders from the Fall Leadership Program. Congratulations and welcome to Carrie McMillen, Joy Kaufman and Charlie Annesi. We look forward to having them help with our outings.

Enjoy the Holidays and take time to get outside!

If you have any questions about the Andover Committee, feel free to contact me.

Midweek NH Trips. Tom Pettingill and his hiking partner David Williamson often do mid-week trips to the New Hampshire mountains and other destinations. Sometimes the hikes are strenuous, other times less so. Tom and Dave are interested in having others participate in these hikes. Usually the destination is decided a day or two prior to the hike based on weather forecasts etc. If you would like to receive notification of these hikes, send an Email to Tom at tompsubs@yahoo.com  and your name will be added to Tom's Email list.
